You own your data. Here’s how to remove your account from KaamGenie — whether you have the app installed or not.
If you have the KaamGenie app on your phone, this is the fastest way:
Your account is removed within a few seconds. You’ll be logged out and returned to the welcome screen.
If you don’t have the app installed (or removed it already), email or WhatsApp us from the same phone number you registered with:
Mention the registered phone number in your message. We will delete your account within 7 working days and confirm by reply.
When you delete your account, we remove the following permanently:
Under Indian law, some records must be retained even after you delete your account. These records are anonymized — they no longer link back to you personally:
These retained records cannot be used to identify you and are kept solely for tax, audit and legal compliance purposes.
Past bookings stay in our system but are immediately anonymized — your name and phone are stripped out within seconds of confirming the deletion. Only the service type, date, area and amount remain, and these are needed for invoice and tax records.
No. Once you confirm the deletion in the app (or once we process your email/WhatsApp request), the deletion is immediate and cannot be undone. You can sign up again with the same phone number at any time — but past addresses and preferences won’t be restored.
