We want every customer to be happy with our service. Here’s how refunds work at KaamGenie.
When Refunds Are Issued
1. Service Not Provided
If our crew does not arrive on the scheduled day or time and we have not contacted you to reschedule, you are entitled to a full refund of any advance payment.
2. Major Service Defect
If the service is not completed to a basic standard — for example, visible dirt left in the tank, no disinfection performed, or no service certificate provided — report the issue within 24 hours of completion. We will:
- Send a crew to re-do the cleaning at no additional charge, OR
- Provide a full refund of the amount paid
3. Cancelled by Us
If we cancel your booking due to crew unavailability, weather, or safety concerns and we cannot reschedule within 48 hours to your satisfaction, you receive a full refund.
When Refunds Are NOT Issued
- After service is completed and you have signed or acknowledged the service report
- After 24 hours from service completion with no quality complaint raised
- For “no-show” by the customer (you weren’t available at the scheduled time without prior notice)
- For minor cosmetic concerns that do not affect water quality
- For any service paid for in cash where the cleaning was completed and accepted
How to Request a Refund
Contact us within the eligibility window via any of these channels:
Please provide:
- Booking date and service address
- Customer name and phone number used for booking
- Reason for the refund request
- Photos (if applicable, for quality issues)
Refund Processing Time
- Refunds for digital payments (UPI, card, bank transfer) are processed within 5-7 business days
- Cash payment refunds are issued via UPI within 3 business days or in cash on our next visit, whichever is sooner
- Bank charges (if any) on the original payment are not refundable
- Refunds appear in your account based on your bank’s processing time, which may add 1-3 days
Disputes
If you are not satisfied with our refund decision, you may raise the matter with the consumer disputes redressal forum in your jurisdiction. We strongly encourage direct dialogue first — please contact us to discuss any concerns.
