Mohib Alam founded KaamGenie in 2026 after spending 19+ years in customer service roles across Delhi’s hospitality and retail industries. He’s seen first-hand how badly the home services market in Delhi treats customers — vague pricing, late showups, no accountability when things go wrong, and no easy way to verify whether the work was actually done well.
The idea for KaamGenie came after his own family had a frustrating experience with a water tank cleaner who left the tank dirtier than they started, charged the full amount anyway, and stopped picking up the phone. That single experience — multiplied across thousands of similar households in Delhi NCR — convinced Mohib there was room for a service brand built on the basics: trained crew, fixed pricing, food-grade chemicals, before/after photos, and a name customers can actually call back if something goes wrong.
Mohib runs operations from KaamGenie’s office at F-15, 2nd Floor, Abul Fazal Enclave Part-1, Jamia Nagar, Okhla, New Delhi. He still personally calls many customers to confirm bookings shortly after submission, and reviews every customer complaint that comes in.
