Why Gurugram sofa bills run higher (even though the rates do not)
Our per-seat rates in Gurugram are exactly what they are in Delhi, Noida or Ghaziabad. A fabric shampoo with wet-vacuum extraction is ₹349 per seat, leather or rexine cleaning with conditioning is ₹599 per seat, and a deep clean with stain and odour treatment is ₹499 per seat. Yet the average Gurgaon booking we handle comes out noticeably larger than a typical Ghaziabad or East Delhi one. The reason is in the living rooms, not the rate card.
Gurugram apartments, especially the newer high-rises and condominiums, have big living and family areas. That space gets filled with large L-shapes and modular sectionals that seat seven, eight or even nine people, often in leather, velvet or a premium woven fabric. More seats and more delicate materials simply add up to a bigger total. If you want the general logic of per-seat pricing across NCR, our NCR sofa cleaning price guide explains it. This article is about what Gurgaon homes in particular end up paying, and why.
Neighbourhood by neighbourhood: what we usually find
Golf Course Road and Golf Course Extension Road
The luxury condominiums along these two roads are where we clean the most leather. A common setup is a leather 3+2 or a seven-seat leather sectional in the main living room, with a separate fabric sofa or a pair of recliners in the family lounge or media room. Some homes also have imported velvet or boucle accent chairs that need a low-moisture approach. Jobs here are larger, and the material decisions matter more than the seat count.
DLF phases and Sushant Lok
DLF Phase 1 to Phase 5 and Sushant Lok have a mix of independent builder floors and older societies. The sofas tend to be older and well used: wooden-frame fabric 3+1+1 sets, a rexine sofa in a study, a much-loved recliner. Here the question is usually standard versus deep clean, because a fifteen-year-old fabric sofa that has never been extracted properly responds far better to the deep clean.
Sohna Road, Nirvana Country and Dwarka Expressway
Sohna Road and the Dwarka Expressway sectors are full of newer high-rise societies with young families, and Nirvana Country has a mix of villas and low-rise homes. In the new towers we see fabric L-shapes bought at possession, often in light grey or beige, which show dust from the surrounding construction within a year. Nirvana homes tend to have more than one sofa set across two floors, so a single visit often covers ten or more seats.
Leather, velvet and sectionals: the three things that move a Gurgaon bill
Leather. At ₹599 per seat, leather costs more than fabric because it is never soaked. We clean it with a pH-safe product, wipe out the grime from the grain and the stitching lines, and finish with a conditioner so the hide stays supple. Gurgaon's dry winters and air-conditioned summers are hard on leather, and an unconditioned sofa starts to crack along the seat edges and armrest tops. If you have a leather set, our guide on preventing leather sofa cracks is worth reading alongside this one, and the dedicated leather sofa cleaning service page covers the process.
Velvet and delicate blends. Some velvets and silk-blend fabrics do not tolerate a full shampoo. For these we use a low-moisture dry-clean method instead, after a patch test on a hidden spot. Because velvet varies so much, we confirm the price after seeing a photo and the fabric label rather than quoting blind. Our velvet sofa cleaning guide explains which velvets can be shampooed and which cannot.
Sectionals and L-shapes. A fabric 7-seater or L-shape starts from ₹1,999 before GST. Larger modular sectionals with a chaise, a corner unit and loose back cushions are counted seat by seat. Count every seating position, including the corner and the chaise, to get a reliable estimate.

Sample quotes for Gurugram homes
These are representative starting totals for the sets we quote most often in Gurugram, before and after 18% GST. Your exact figure is confirmed on the phone and is not changed when the crew arrives.
| Home and area | What gets cleaned | Before GST | Including 18% GST |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sushant Lok builder floor | Fabric 3+2, standard shampoo and extraction | ₹1,499 | about ₹1,769 |
| Dwarka Expressway new flat | Fabric L-shape (7 seats), standard clean | ₹1,999 | about ₹2,359 |
| Sohna Road society, light fabric | Fabric L-shape (7 seats) plus fabric protection on all 7 seats | ₹2,692 | about ₹3,177 |
| Nirvana Country home | Leather 3+2 plus one recliner | ₹3,098 | about ₹3,656 |
| Golf Course Road condominium | Leather sectional (7 seats), clean and condition | ₹4,193 | about ₹4,948 |
For your own mix of sofas and add-ons, the sofa cleaning cost calculator gives an instant total. Recliners are ₹599 per unit because we vacuum into the mechanism and clean the hinges and gaps, and fabric protection is an optional ₹99 per seat coat that helps light-coloured fabric resist spills.
Condo security, service lifts and timing
Gurugram's gated condominiums are well run, which is good, but it means the visit has to be planned with security in mind. In most Golf Course Road and Sohna Road towers, a service crew needs prior approval through the society's visitor app or the concierge desk. Some ask for the crew's names and ID at the gate, and a few want the resident to confirm on the intercom even after pre-approval. Sharing our crew lead's details the evening before usually gets us in within minutes.
Many high-rises also route service staff and equipment through a service lift, and some allow work only within set hours on weekdays and Saturdays. Our machine, chemicals and wet vacuum fit easily into a service lift, and we lay down floor protection before starting, which matters on the marble and wooden flooring common in these homes. None of this changes the price: the quote is per seat, not per floor or tower. It does affect timing, so if your society closes service work at six in the evening, book a morning slot so drying and grooming are not rushed.
Drying is the other local consideration. Gurgaon homes run air-conditioning for much of the year, which keeps rooms closed. Fabric is usually touch-dry in about 4 to 6 hours and fully dry by next morning; switching the AC to fan or dry mode and running a ceiling fan speeds it up. Leather needs almost no drying time, and low-moisture cleaning on velvet dries faster than a shampoo.
When paying less is the wrong decision
In bigger Gurugram homes, people sometimes try to save by cleaning only the main sofa and skipping the second set, or by asking for a standard clean on a leather sofa that really needs conditioning. Some trade-offs are fine; some cost you more later.
- Skipping conditioning on leather saves nothing, because our leather rate already includes it, and a cleaned but unconditioned hide dries out faster.
- Choosing standard over deep clean on an old DLF-phase fabric sofa with headrest grime and a faint smell usually leaves you calling us back within months. The ₹499 per seat deep clean with hot-water extraction and an anti-microbial rinse is better value there.
- Splitting two sets across two visits means two gate approvals and two drying days. Doing both together is simpler, and on a large booking we can assess and quote the whole home in writing.
- Shampooing a delicate velvet to save time can flatten the pile permanently. A low-moisture clean is the correct choice, even if it means an extra photo check first.
We will also tell you when spending more is pointless. A two-year-old fabric L-shape that only has dust on it does not need a deep clean, and old set-in stains may only lighten even with the best treatment.
Booking in Gurgaon: what to send us
Send a WhatsApp or call with your society or sector, the number of seats in each set, the material (fabric, leather, rexine, velvet), photos of any stains, and whether there are recliners, pets or children in the home. That is enough for us to give you one confirmed price including GST. Payment is by cash, UPI, card or bank transfer after the work is done, and if anything is not right before the crew leaves, they redo it on the spot. Frequently asked questions
What is the price of sofa cleaning in Gurugram?
Fabric sofa cleaning in Gurugram starts at Rs 349 per seat, a 3+2 set from Rs 1,499 and a 7-seater or L-shape from Rs 1,999 before GST. Leather or rexine is Rs 599 per seat, and a deep clean with stain and odour treatment is Rs 499 per seat. GST at 18% is added.
Why is my Gurgaon sofa cleaning quote higher than my friend's in Delhi?
The per-seat rates are identical across NCR. Gurgaon quotes are often higher because homes here have more seats, larger sectionals, second sofa sets and more leather, which is priced at Rs 599 per seat. Count the seats and materials in both homes and the difference usually explains itself.
How much does it cost to clean a leather sofa in Gurgaon?
Leather cleaning with conditioning is Rs 599 per seat. A leather 3+2 starts at Rs 2,499, about Rs 2,949 with GST, and a seven-seat leather sectional is about Rs 4,193, or about Rs 4,948 with GST. Leather is never soaked, so it needs almost no drying time.
Can you clean a velvet sofa in a Golf Course Road apartment?
Yes. Many velvets and silk blends are cleaned with a low-moisture dry-clean method rather than a shampoo, after a patch test on a hidden spot. Because velvets vary widely, send us a photo and the fabric label so we can confirm the right method and price before the visit.
How are modular sectionals with a chaise priced?
Sectionals are counted seat by seat, with the corner unit and chaise each counted as seating positions. A fabric L-shape or 7-seater starts from Rs 1,999 before GST. For a very large modular set, photos help us confirm the seat count and give you a fixed price on the phone.
Will condo security in Gurgaon let the cleaning crew in?
Yes, as long as the visit is pre-approved through your society's visitor app or concierge. Some condominiums also ask for crew names and ID at the gate. Share our crew lead's details the evening before, and confirm which lift service staff must use, so entry takes minutes rather than half an hour.
Does air-conditioning slow down sofa drying in Gurgaon flats?
Closed, air-conditioned rooms can slow drying a little. Fabric is usually touch-dry in about 4 to 6 hours and fully dry by next morning. Switching the AC to fan or dry mode, running a ceiling fan and opening a window for a while all help the cushions dry evenly.
Is fabric protection worth it on a new sofa in a Sohna Road flat?
On a new light grey or beige fabric sofa in a home with children, it often is. Fabric protection costs from Rs 99 per seat and adds a stain-repellent coat after cleaning, giving you a little more time to blot spills before they soak in. On dark or patterned fabric it matters less.
Can you clean two sofa sets in a Nirvana Country villa on one visit?
Yes, and it is usually simpler for you. We send a crew with enough time for both sets, and each is priced per seat. For a very large home, an office or a society booking we offer a free assessment and a written quote covering everything in one visit.
Do you serve DLF Phase 1 to 5 and Sushant Lok?
Yes. We clean sofas across DLF Phase 1 to 5, Sushant Lok, Golf Course Road, Golf Course Extension Road, Sohna Road, Nirvana Country, the Dwarka Expressway sectors and most other parts of Gurugram. The crew brings its own machine, chemicals and wet vacuum and protects your floor.
