We clean overhead and sump tanks for Rohini Sector 19's DDA flats, plotted kothis and builder floors — same day where possible. Starting ₹699.
Sector 19 leans towards plotted development — kothis and builder floors on individual plots, with pockets of DDA flat blocks between them. The kothis and floors each run their own overhead tank and often a private sump, so most work here is per-house rather than shared-block. DJB water runs distinctly hard in parts of Sector 19, so descaling comes up more often than elsewhere; we routinely find thick chalky scale on kothi tank walls and stiff float valves. Some older plots keep a borewell whose sediment settles in the sump. The DDA blocks that exist share overheads the RWA maintains, but plotted homes dominate the calls.
Since Sector 19 work is mostly individual kothis and floors, we keep flexible same-day slots and route between adjacent plots in one afternoon. Owners here often bundle a descaling with the yearly clean.
For a standard 1000-litre overhead tank, the whole job takes about 90 minutes from doorbell to pack-up. Underground sumps take longer — usually 2 to 2.5 hours depending on sludge. You don’t need to provide anything: we bring our own water for the rinse, vacuums, jet pumps, food-grade disinfectant and gloves, and send before/after photos on WhatsApp.
Sector 19's harder water leaves thick scale on kothi and builder-floor tank walls, and it stiffens the float valves so tanks overflow or underfill. On these jobs we drain the overhead, hand-scrub the scale, free up the float, then add a proper descaling treatment for ₹300-500 on top of the clean. A single overhead tank is ₹699-1,499, so a descaled clean lands around ₹1,000-2,000 for most homes. Where the plot has a private sump too, the combined overhead-plus-sump clean is ₹1,500-2,500. One visit, and we show you the before-and-after inside the tank.
New builder floors on Sector 19 plots arrive with cement-dusted tanks that need a flush and sanitise before move-in — ₹699-1,499 for the overhead, ₹1,500-2,500 if a sump is included. Older plots on borewell backup collect sediment in the sump, so we vacuum it out and add an iron-flush where the water has stained the walls. A single flat in one of the DDA blocks is ₹699-1,499, or the RWA can book the whole block's shared overhead at ₹2,500-3,000. Same-day slots are usually open for plotted homes.
“Why is the water so hard in Sector 19?” Parts of the sector get harder DJB supply, which leaves thick scale on tank walls. We scrub it off and add a descaling treatment for ₹300-500 so it stays clear for months.
“I have a kothi with an overhead tank and a sump — one price?” Yes, we do both in one visit. A combined overhead-plus-sump clean is ₹1,500-2,500 for a standard plot.
“Do you clean new builder-floor tanks before move-in?” Yes. New tanks are full of cement dust; a move-in flush and sanitise is ₹699-1,499 for the overhead, more with a sump.
