We clean shared overhead tanks, sumps and combo systems for the CGHS societies and DDA flats of Dwarka Sector 4, same day where possible. Starting ₹699.
Sector 4 is a settled residential pocket of CGHS group-housing societies clustered around the sector market. The societies typically run a paired system — a large rooftop overhead tank fed from a deep underground sump — so cleaning is most efficient as a combo. DJB supply is steady but borewell backup adds mineral hardness, which leaves a chalky scale on tank walls and pipe mouths. The market-side blocks also see heavier daily draw, so their tanks turn over fast and sediment concentrates in the sump.
The sector market makes parking tight, so we schedule Sector 4 society jobs for early morning before shops open. We coordinate with the caretaker to run overhead and sump back-to-back in a single visit.
For a standard 1000-litre overhead tank, the whole job takes about 90 minutes from doorbell to pack-up. Underground sumps take longer — usually 2 to 2.5 hours depending on sludge. You don’t need to provide anything: we bring our own water for the rinse, vacuums, jet pumps, food-grade disinfectant and gloves, and send before/after photos on WhatsApp.
Because Sector 4 societies pair a rooftop tank with an underground sump, doing both in one combo visit saves the block a second call-out. We drain and clean the sump first, then the overhead tank, sanitising both before refill. A combined job for a mid-size society runs ₹4,500-6,000 depending on tank and sump volume, split across the flats at roughly ₹150 each. Standalone, the overhead tank alone is ₹2,500-3,000 and the sump ₹1,500-2,500 — so the combo is the better value here.
The borewell backup in Sector 4 leaves a chalky mineral scale, most visible on the market-side blocks that draw heavily. Beyond the standard scrub, we descale the tank walls and inlet so refills run clean. Descaling adds ₹300-500 to a standard clean. For a single market-block flat with its own tank, cleaning stays ₹699-1,499; add descaling if the scale is heavy. RWAs here usually book the full combo twice a year and slot descaling into one of those visits.
“Should our Sector 4 society do the tank and sump together?” Yes, the combo is more efficient and cheaper than two visits — ₹4,500-6,000 for both, split around ₹150 per flat.
“There's a white chalky layer in our tank — is that a problem?” That is borewell mineral scale. We descale the walls and inlet for ₹300-500 on top of the standard clean so water runs clear.
“Can you work around the Sector 4 market crowd?” Yes, we take early-morning slots before shops open so parking and access aren't an issue.
