Between GK-1, South Extension and the old Moth ki Masjid monument, Masjid Moth runs on two very different tank setups — DDA society tanks on stair towers and per-floor plastic tanks in the village lanes. KaamGenie cleans both. From ₹699.
Masjid Moth is the village-turned-colony wedged between Greater Kailash 1, South Extension Part 2 and the fifteenth-century Moth ki Masjid. The DDA flats of Phases 1 to 3 draw from shared tanks mounted on stair towers, while the village-core builder floors carry individual plastic tanks per floor. DJB supply here is dependable, but the DDA blocks are pushing forty years old and their GI risers shed rust flakes that settle inside every tank they feed.
Our service covers the full sequence — tank emptied, rust-tinted sediment removed, walls jetted clean, corners hand-finished, then a drinking-water-safe sanitiser rinse — documented with photographs and a dated certificate for your society file. See also our page for water tank cleaning in Masjid Moth; this one focuses on the overhead tanks specifically.
The Phase 1–3 DDA blocks were plumbed in the 1980s, and four decades of galvanised pipe now shed orange flakes into the stair-tower tanks with every fill. Even with clean DJB water entering the system, residents see rusty streaks after the pump runs and a brown ring at the tank’s waterline. Cleaning the tank clears the accumulation; we also point out which inlet sections are shedding worst.
In the village core the problem is different: rebuilt plots put four or five plastic tanks on one roof, plumbed by different plumbers over the years, and at least one usually sits half-forgotten with a cracked lid near the monument-side lanes. Dust, leaf litter and pigeon activity do the rest. A phase-block society clean once or twice a year, and a per-floor clean every six months in the village lanes, keeps taps clear.
No travel charge anywhere in Masjid Moth. The final price is confirmed on the call before we come — it depends only on tank size and access.

We reach every pocket of Masjid Moth — and there’s no travel charge to any of them:
“Can you clean the shared stair-tower tanks in the DDA phases?” Yes. Stair-tower society tanks in Phases 1, 2 and 3 are a routine job for us. We coordinate a low-water window with the block’s residents, clean and sanitise the tank, and hand the society a dated certificate with before–after photos for its records.
“What is the price for my floor’s tank in the village side?” A tank up to 500L is ₹699 and a 501–1,000L tank is ₹899, all inclusive — emptying, sediment removal, jet wash, hand finishing and a drinking-water-safe sanitiser rinse. If your roof has several tanks, we quote a combined rate on the spot before touching anything.
“Our water shows rust streaks even after cleaning — why?” Rust usually enters from ageing GI risers, not the tank itself. Cleaning removes what has settled, and during the job we check whether the inlet is actively shedding flakes. If it is, we tell you plainly so you can plan a pipe fix — otherwise the streaks will slowly return.
“How soon can you come to Masjid Moth?” Call before 10 AM and same-day service is usually possible — the colony sits right on our GK–South Extension corridor. Later bookings are typically scheduled for the next morning.
“Do you clean tanks near the monument lanes where roofs are tight?” Yes. The village-core lanes around Moth ki Masjid have compact roofs, and our crew works with portable equipment carried up the internal stairs. We only need a tap point for rinse water and somewhere nearby to drain the tank safely.
