At the weak tail-end of the network, Sitapuri households pump from ground drums up to roof tanks — two storage stages, double the surfaces growing sediment. KaamGenie cleans the full chain, janta flats and village lanes alike. From ₹699.
Sitapuri is a small colony wedged between Dabri and the Pankha Road DDA belt, split between C-block janta flats and regularised village lanes. Sitting at the tail of the supply network, it receives some of the weakest water pressure in the belt — too weak to climb to a roof tank directly. So most buildings catch supply in ground-level drums or small sumps first, then pump upward, meaning every household effectively runs two storage systems.
That is why our Sitapuri visits are usually chain cleans: the rooftop tank drained, de-silted, jet-washed, hand-scrubbed and disinfected with food-grade solution, and the ground drums or mini-sump done in the same trip so they stop reseeding the tank above. Photos and a dated certificate cover the lot. The area’s main page is water tank cleaning in Sitapuri.
Every transfer between containers gives sediment a fresh chance to enter and settle. Supply arrives in the ground drum carrying pipeline silt; the drum, sitting at lane level with a loose cover, adds dust and insects; then the transfer pump chops it all together and sends it up to the roof tank, where it settles again. Clean only the roof tank and the drum below refills it with the same load within days.
The C-block janta flats concentrate the problem differently: small stairwell tanks serving many households cycle constantly under pump pressure, and their modest size means even a thin sludge layer eats a real share of capacity. Between the flats and the village lanes, the fix is the same — both storage stages cleaned together, every six months, timed just before the supply window so refill is immediate.
No travel charge anywhere in Sitapuri. The final price is confirmed on the call before we come — it depends only on tank size and access.

“Do you clean the ground drum and the roof tank together?” Yes, and in Sitapuri we actively recommend it — cleaning the roof tank alone leaves the drum below to recontaminate it within days. The chain clean does drum first, then tank, so nothing dirty pumps upward afterwards. Both appear in the same photo set and certificate.
“What does the combined clean cost?” The overhead tank follows our standard slabs — ₹699 up to 500L, ₹899 for 501–1,000L — and drums or a small sump are quoted modestly on top by size when you book. Most Sitapuri homes find the full chain lands well under what two separate visits would cost.
“Our transfer pump has started rattling and the water looks dirty. Related?” Often, yes. Grit from an unclean drum passes straight through the pump, wearing its impeller — the rattle — and clouding what reaches the roof tank. Cleaning both stages removes the grit stream; if the pump keeps rattling after that, it needs a mechanic, and we will tell you honestly which case you have.
“Who books the clean for a shared janta-flat tank?” Any one resident can — we simply need agreement on a two-hour window and access to the stairwell roof. Costs are split across the flats on the tank, which keeps individual shares small. Many C-block stairwells appoint one collector and repeat the booking every six months on a fixed date.
“Can you come the same day if our pressure suddenly drops?” Call before 10 AM and we can usually reach Sitapuri that day. Sudden pressure loss at the tap in a two-stage setup is frequently a scaled or grit-choked outlet rather than a network problem — we check the tank outlet and float first, and cleaning generally restores flow in one visit.
