Every plastic tank collects sludge, but a level tank collects it around the outlet where draining flushes some of it out. “Our tank sits tilted on bricks. Is that actually a problem?” For cleaning, yes — the low corner becomes a permanent sludge trap the outlet never drains, so the tank fouls faster than a level one. During the visit we vacuum that corner out and, where the roof allows, re-pack the seating so the tank sits closer to level and the outlet does its job between cleans.
“Can you check whether our steel stand is still safe?” We inspect it on every job — joints, rust depth, how evenly the tank base sits. A full tank is enormously heavy, and a stand rusted at the welds on a ridge-top roof deserves attention before it deserves regret. If it needs replacing we say so plainly and you arrange a fabricator; we are not selling stands.
