Kanjhawla’s 1000-2000L plastic tanks are the biggest in our west Delhi rounds — and on pure hard borewell water they grow scale crusts you can lift out in slabs. KaamGenie cleans large rural-belt tanks across the village, the farmhouses and the Kanjhawla Road builder floors. From ₹699.
Kanjhawla is the administrative centre of the north-west district’s countryside — village havelis, farmhouses, dairies and a wave of new builder floors along the Kanjhawla Road. Supply is almost entirely borewell and very hard, and because timing is unpredictable, households standardise on big tanks: 1000L is normal, 2000L common. Big tanks on very hard water are a specific problem — more stored litres means more dissolved minerals dropped per fill, and the crust builds faster than anywhere else we serve in the west.
KaamGenie’s large-tank clean is built for exactly this — drain, break and vacuum out the scale slabs, soften the crust bonded into the ribbed floor grooves, jet-wash at plastic-safe pressure, hand-scrub, then food-grade disinfection and photos. Dairies and farmhouse setups with multiple tanks get one coordinated visit. For sumps, troughs and other storage, see our water tank cleaning in Kanjhawla page; this one covers Sintex and plastic tanks.
Very hard borewell water drops its minerals every time it sits, and a 2000L tank simply sits with more of it. On the ribbed floor of a big Sintex tank the deposit packs into the grooves and bridges across them, hardening into a crust that a household scrub cannot touch — by the time we open a typical Kanjhawla tank, we are lifting scale out in pieces. That rough crust then robs you twice: it shrinks the usable volume and it snags every later fill’s sediment.
Rural rooftops add the sun problem at full strength. A big translucent tank standing alone on a haveli or farmhouse roof takes unshaded sun all day; years of that UV chalk the outer wall — that white powdery bloom on old rural tanks — while the light still getting through feeds algae along the waterline inside. Chalked, scaled tanks are not ruined, but they need a proper professional clean, and on Kanjhawla’s water that means at least twice a year for a tank in daily use.
No travel charge anywhere in Kanjhawla. The final price is confirmed on the call before we come — it depends only on tank size and access.

Every locality in Delhi stores different water, and that decides how fast a tank fouls. This is Kanjhawla’s profile from The Delhi Water Index, built from our field observations across 250+ localities.

“Do you clean 2000L tanks, and what do they cost in Kanjhawla?” Yes — big tanks are most of our Kanjhawla work. Up to 500L is ₹699 and 501-1,000L is ₹899; 2000L tanks are quoted a little above that depending on the scale load, always agreed before we start. Heavy crust removal is included in the quote, not added afterwards.
“Can you clean multiple tanks at a farmhouse or dairy in one visit?” Yes, that is the sensible way. Farmhouses and dairies here typically run two to four plastic tanks plus troughs and drums; we clean them in sequence in one visit so you are never fully without water, and multi-tank bookings get a per-tank rate. The dairy-side storage gets the same food-grade disinfection as household tanks.
“There are hard white slabs on our tank floor. Can they be removed without damaging the plastic?” Yes. That is bonded calcium crust from the borewell water, and the wrong approach — chisels or wire brushes — scars the plastic and makes the next crust grip faster. We soften the crust first, break it out by hand and vacuum, then pad-scrub the ribbed grooves at plastic-safe jet pressure. The floor comes back to smooth plastic.
“The outside of our old tank has gone white and powdery. Is it finished?” Not necessarily. That powder is UV chalking from years of unshaded sun — common on rural rooftops — and it affects the surface, not usually the tank’s soundness. We will tell you honestly during the clean whether the wall has gone brittle or is fine for years more, and a simple shade frame slows the chalking from then on.
“How quickly can you reach Kanjhawla?” Call before 10 AM on 95603 66362 and we can usually schedule the same day — Kanjhawla anchors our rural-belt run, and we group village, farmhouse and Kanjhawla Road bookings together. Given borewell timing out here, tell us your motor schedule and we will slot the clean so the tank refills the same evening.
