Garment factory in Phase 2, godown with rooftop tanks, automotive workshop — Okhla Phase 2 has hundreds of industrial setups, and we’ve cleaned tanks in many of them.
Phase 2 has more medium-sized factories than Phase 1. Lots of garment manufacturing, packaging units, automotive workshops. The water tanks here are usually 2,000-10,000 litres. We use industrial-grade equipment and food-safe disinfectant where the water is used in production.
If you have multiple factories in Okhla, we offer bulk pricing — same crew comes for multiple addresses on the same day. Saves coordination headaches and you get a single bill for accounting.
Industrial tanks here build up problems faster than residential ones because the water is in constant use. Most jobs in Phase 2 turn up one of three things: oil and grease residue floating on top (common in garment dyeing units and auto workshops where employees wash hands), airborne dust deposits from manufacturing settling on the water surface, and biofilm on the walls if the tank is used for cooling or production water and rarely emptied fully.
For garment factories with dyeing operations, we recommend quarterly cleaning. For packaging and assembly units where water is mainly for staff use, twice a year is enough. Auto workshops with high water consumption often need 3 cleanings a year because of the sediment workshop water carries back into the tank if there’s any cross-contamination.
Most Phase 2 facilities need water tank cleaning records for one or more of: FSSAI inspections (for any food-handling unit), pollution board audits, ISO 9001/14001 quality certifications, or simply for client audits if you supply to multinationals. We provide a service certificate at completion that meets all of these requirements: date, tank capacity, chemicals used (with batch numbers if needed), and crew details.
If you want a third-party lab water test after cleaning, we coordinate that too — usually ₹800-1,500 extra depending on which parameters you need tested. Useful when you’re renewing FSSAI or onboarding a new client.
Most Phase 2 units don’t want production stopped, so we schedule cleanings on Sundays or after work hours (after 7 PM). For tanks that supply both production and washroom areas, we usually drain and refill within 90-120 minutes — staff arriving the next morning won’t notice anything except cleaner water.
For larger 10,000+ litre reservoirs, we send a 2-3 person crew and complete the job in 3-4 hours. Bring power-cut backup if your unit is on a sensitive feeder — we have battery vacuums and don’t need your mains.
