DDA flat in Phase 1, builder floor in Phase 2, plotted house near Jasola — Abul Fazal Enclave is a regular service area for us. Starting ₹600.
Abul Fazal Enclave has both DDA flats and plotted housing. The DDA buildings in Phase 1 have shared rooftop tanks (often 2,000-3,000 litres serving 4-8 flats), which need a yearly deep clean at minimum. We coordinate with one resident or RWA representative for access — tenants don’t need to be home individually.
Phase 2 is newer with more plotted housing — usually individual rooftop tanks per house. Quicker jobs, ₹600-750 each, and we can do a full street together if neighbours coordinate.
The DJB water supply here can be irregular — most homes only get good pressure in the morning, which is why people store more water than they actually use that day. That means tanks tend to be larger (1,500-2,000L for plotted houses) and the same water sits in storage longer, so cleaning matters more here than in areas with steady 24-hour supply.
Three things show up on most jobs in this area:
The shared rooftop tanks in Phase 1 DDA buildings are usually the most neglected — nobody is sure whose responsibility it is, so it falls between everybody. For tanks not cleaned in 3+ years, expect 30-45 minutes extra on the job for proper manual scrubbing. We’ll show you photos before and after on WhatsApp so you can see exactly what came out.
Roof access is the main thing to sort out before we arrive. For Phase 1 DDA buildings, we need someone to unlock the rooftop — usually a resident or the building caretaker. For plotted houses in Phase 2, just leave the gate open and tell the family someone is coming.
We bring everything — jet wash equipment, wet vacuum, food-grade disinfectant, ladder, brushes, even the buckets. You don’t need to provide water (we use very little of yours), and we have battery backup if the building is on power-cut. The whole job takes 75-90 minutes for most homes, an hour or so for the smaller Phase 2 builder-floor tanks.
How often should we clean? — Once every 6 months for plotted houses, twice a year for shared tanks. If your stretch had a DJB pipe burst or major repair recently, schedule one immediately after — that’s when the worst sediment enters tanks.
Do you handle the Phase 2 builder floors with the small overhead tanks? — Yes, and they’re among our quickest jobs — usually under an hour. Most builder floors have 500-700L plastic tanks that are easy to access.
What if our DDA society RWA wants to clean all flats together? — That’s actually the cheapest option per flat. We’ve done multi-tank cleanings in Phase 1 buildings — quote drops 20-25% per tank when 5 or more are done in one visit. Best to coordinate through the RWA secretary.
The water has been smelling odd, is that the tank? — Probably yes, especially if the smell is musty or earthy. Bring us in to inspect — if the tank is fine, we won’t charge for the visit. If it needs cleaning, we’ll show you the inside on WhatsApp before we start.
