Café in the Village, kothi in the Enclave, builder floor near IIT — we clean tanks for everyone in Hauz Khas. FSSAI-friendly cleaning for restaurants. Starting ₹600.
Hauz Khas Village is mostly cafés, restaurants and design studios. These places need tanks cleaned with food-grade disinfectants and a proper certificate — FSSAI inspectors do show up. We do this regularly for HKV restaurants and provide the paperwork on the spot.
The Enclave side and IIT-facing pockets are mostly residential — kothis and builder floors with a mix of borewell and DJB water. Borewell water in this part of Delhi is on the harder side, so we recommend cleaning every 4 months instead of 6.
If you run a kitchen, you already know FSSAI takes water source seriously. We do annual contracts with several HKV restaurants — we come every 3 months, clean your tank, give you the certificate, and bill the restaurant directly. Saves you from explaining the same thing to a different cleaner every time.
Hauz Khas Village has its own logistical quirks — narrow lanes, restricted vehicle access, rooftop tanks accessed via internal staircases. We’ve worked out the routing for HKV: our crew arrives with portable equipment, parks at the village entrance gates, and walks in with vacuum and brushes. For the larger jet wash unit, we time visits when access is clearer (early morning, before lunch service).
Most HKV cafés are converted heritage buildings with original RCC tanks tucked into roof corners. These are awkward to reach and often overdue for proper cleaning. We’ve developed a routine for them — smaller ladders, shorter hose runs, two-stage water disposal so we don’t flood the inner courtyards.
The Enclave side has a different cleaning profile entirely. Big plots, underground sumps (3,000-5,000 litres typical), rooftop overheads, mostly borewell-fed with occasional DJB top-up during summer scarcity. The borewell water here has noticeable hardness — you’ll see chalky white scaling on bathroom tiles and inside the kettle, and the same scaling builds up on tank walls.
For Enclave kothis we recommend cleaning every 4 months because of the borewell hardness. Annual contracts with 3 visits per year work out to about ₹4,800-6,000 total, which is 15-20% cheaper than booking each visit separately.
"My HKV café is in a heritage building — will the cleaning damage anything?" No — we work entirely inside the tank, so the building structure and finishes aren’t touched. We carry tarps and drop sheets to protect any floor or wall surfaces near the access route.
"How do I know which 3-month cycle is right for my restaurant?" Time the cleanings 7-10 days before your FSSAI renewal or before any major audit. That way the certificate is recent enough to be relevant and clean enough to look like a regular practice.
All pockets and lanes of Hauz Khas covered. If your specific block or society isn’t named in the sub-areas above, just call — we almost certainly cover it.
