We clean tanks for Rohini Sector 12's HIG DDA flats, plotted kothis and shops around the sector market — same day where possible. Starting ₹699.
Sector 12 mixes HIG DDA flats with a good stretch of plotted kothis and an active sector market. The kothis mostly run an overhead tank plus a private underground sump, while the HIG blocks share a larger overhead among the flats. DJB water here is piped but a few kothis keep a borewell for backup, and that borewell water brings more iron and sediment into the sump. We regularly find rust-tinged silt at the bottom of kothi sumps that a jug rinse never touches. The market's shops and eateries run smaller commercial tanks that need more frequent turns.
Kothi owners like a fixed annual date, so we keep a reminder list and call round the same week each year. Market and shop tanks we clean early morning before trading hours so nobody loses a day's business.
For a standard 1000-litre overhead tank, the whole job takes about 90 minutes from doorbell to pack-up. Underground sumps take longer — usually 2 to 2.5 hours depending on sludge. You don’t need to provide anything: we bring our own water for the rinse, vacuums, jet pumps, food-grade disinfectant and gloves, and send before/after photos on WhatsApp.
A Sector 12 kothi usually has a roof overhead tank feeding the house and an underground sump the DJB or borewell fills. We do both together: drain the overhead, scrub the walls, then pump out the sump, vacuum the iron-heavy silt, and disinfect both before refilling. A combined overhead-plus-sump clean runs ₹1,500-2,500 for a standard kothi, more if the sump is oversized. If the borewell water has left rust staining we add a descaling and iron-flush step for ₹300-500. The whole job is one visit, two to three hours.
The HIG blocks share an overhead tank the RWA maintains, which we clean at ₹2,500-3,000 and the flats split per share. Around the sector market, shops and small eateries run individual tanks that need cleaning more often because of heavier daily use — those are ₹699-1,499 and we do them before the market opens. A single HIG flat that wants its own line checked is ₹699. We can bundle a few adjacent shops in one morning run to keep it cheap.
“I have a kothi with a borewell — is that different?” Borewell water leaves more iron sediment, so the sump needs a proper vacuum and an iron-flush. We add descaling for ₹300-500 on top of the ₹1,500-2,500 combo clean.
“Can you clean my shop tank before the market opens?” Yes, we run market jobs early morning before trading hours. A shop tank is ₹699-1,499 and we can do a few neighbouring shops in one visit.
“How often should a Sector 12 kothi tank be cleaned?” Once a year for piped-only supply; twice if you run a borewell, because of the sediment. We keep an annual reminder and call you the same week each year.
