Which parts of Delhi have the hardest, most mineral-heavy water? This ranking scores 250+ localities on the KaamGenie Tank Scale Index (0–100), an observational measure of how much mineral scale and sediment our cleaning crews find in each area’s tanks, combined with indicative TDS bands from field testing. Free to cite with attribution.
Every locality below scores 60 or higher on the Tank Scale Index, which puts it in the High or Severe band: tanks in these areas typically need cleaning every 6 to 9 months instead of the usual 12. The common factor is groundwater. Where colonies depend on borewells and tankers rather than piped DJB supply, dissolved minerals run far higher and scale builds within months.
