Shivaji Park sits pinched between Rohtak Road’s traffic and the rail line — two streams of fine dust that slip under any tank lid the sun has warped. KaamGenie cleans the plastic tanks and gets those lids seating square again. From ₹699.
Shivaji Park is the compact colony beside Madipur’s Green Line station, mixing DDA flats, plotted homes and the park that names it. Its water storage splits the usual way — stairwell RCC tanks in the DDA blocks, per-floor plastic tanks on the plotted rebuilds — but its location does not: pinched between Rohtak Road and the railway, the colony’s roofs collect two kinds of fine dust at once. Traffic film from the road side, and the gritty, faintly metallic dust the rail corridor throws, both fine enough to work through any lid that no longer seats flush.
KaamGenie cleans the plastic tanks across Shivaji Park — drained, wet-vacuumed, jet-washed at plastic-safe pressure, soft-pad scrubbed, then a food-grade disinfectant rinse with before-and-after photos and a dated certificate — and we treat the lid as part of the job, because here it genuinely is. For the DDA blocks’ RCC tanks or a full-building clean, see our main water tank cleaning in Shivaji Park page; this page is about the Sintex and plastic tanks.
A Sintex lid is the cheapest component of the whole water system and the first to fail. Years of sun warp it out of round, it stops seating flush, and from then on the tank breathes street dust with every temperature swing. In most colonies that is a slow problem; in Shivaji Park, with Rohtak Road on one flank and the rail line on the other, the dust supply is constant and the fine fractions settle through the gap day and night. The translucent wall then adds light, and the film builds on the seeded surface.
The plotted rebuilds carry a second pattern — tanks bought at different times as floors were added, so one roof holds a newer tank with a sound lid beside a ten-year-old tank with a warped one, and the two foul at completely different rates. When we clean a Shivaji Park roof we grade every lid: reseat what can be reseated, and name the ones past saving so the owner replaces a ₹300 lid instead of fighting a permanently dusty tank. It is the highest-leverage fix in the colony.
No travel charge anywhere in Shivaji Park. The final price is confirmed on the call before we come — it depends only on tank size and access.

Every locality in Delhi stores different water, and that decides how fast a tank fouls. This is Shivaji Park’s profile from The Delhi Water Index, built from our field observations across 250+ localities.

“Our tank was cleaned months ago but grit is back already. How?” Check the lid before blaming the cleaner. A warped lid over a roof between Rohtak Road and the rail line lets fine dust settle in continuously, so a clean tank re-collects fast. During our visit we grade the lid’s seating, reseat it if possible, and tell you if a replacement is the real fix — it usually costs a few hundred rupees.
“What are your rates in Shivaji Park?” ₹699 for plastic tanks up to 500 litres, ₹899 for 501-1,000 litres — wet-vacuum, plastic-safe jet wash, soft-pad scrub, food-grade disinfectant rinse, photos and dated certificate included. Multiple tanks on one plotted-rebuild roof are quoted together, which brings the per-tank cost down for the building.
“Can you clean tanks in the DDA flats too?” The stairwell tanks in the DDA blocks are mostly RCC, which we also handle — through our main Shivaji Park water tank cleaning service. If your block has added plastic tanks alongside, we clean those on this service with the plastic-safe process. Either way one call to 95603 66362 sorts the right crew.
“Is the rail-side dust actually harmful in water?” It is not something to drink, put it that way. Rail-corridor dust carries fine mineral and metallic particles that settle into a grey, slightly gritty floor layer, and it gives biofilm a surface to grip. Wet-vacuuming it out, scrubbing the walls and sealing the lid removes both the layer and its way back in.
“Do you offer same-day service here?” Usually, for calls before 10 AM — Shivaji Park adjoins our Madipur and Punjabi Bagh rounds, so routing a crew in is straightforward. We aim the drain at your low-use hours and the tank is refilling by the time the afternoon supply window opens.
