The society’s system is cleaned because the RWA schedules it; a flat’s own plastic tank is invisible to that schedule. It fills from the common supply — water that has already stood once in the cluster sump and again in the RCC tank — and then stands a third time behind a translucent plastic wall, often in a sunny shaft or on an open terrace ledge. The add-ons also inherit the RCC tanks’ output: old concrete sheds fine grit and, around hairline cracks, an intermittent muddy tinge, all of which settles into the plastic tank’s floor ribs downstream. Residents blame the society tank for particles at the tap, but half the deposit is sitting in their own unit. If a tank is genuinely unreachable safely, we say so upfront rather than improvise on your property.
