Lado Sarai is Delhi's gallery district — converted plot houses turned into art spaces on the ground floor, residential above. Water is DJB-fed mostly, with some borewell backup. The galleries usually have a small dedicated tank for staff/visitor use; the residential floors above have separate tanks per flat.
The Saket-Mehrauli Road side has slightly older buildings with shared overhead tanks. Both patterns are familiar work for our crew.
For a standard 1000-litre overhead tank, the whole job takes about 90 minutes from when we ring your doorbell to when we’re packing up. Underground sumps take a bit longer — usually 2 to 2.5 hours depending on how much sludge has built up.
You don’t need to provide anything. We bring our own water for the rinse, our own electricity backup if needed, vacuums, jet pumps, food-grade disinfectant, gloves, the works. We’ll show you photos of the tank before and after on WhatsApp once we’re done.
Most galleries in Lado Sarai prefer cleanings between exhibitions — there's a natural gap of 1-2 weeks every couple of months. We coordinate timing with the gallery manager, do the work between exhibitions, and don't disrupt walk-in traffic. Small tanks (300-500L typically), 60 minutes, ₹600.
The residential floors above the galleries usually have individual 500-1000L tanks. Standard work, ₹600-750. If the building has 3-4 floors of tenants and the landlord wants a bulk booking, we discount slightly for doing them all in one visit.
"My gallery has artworks on the wall near the staircase — can your equipment go past them safely?" Yes. Our crew is briefed on art-space protocols — slim hand-carried gear, drop sheets on the floor, no wall contact. We've worked in 8-10 Lado Sarai galleries already.
"Can you do after-gallery-hours cleanings?" Yes — evening slots after 8 PM work fine for galleries. Same price.
